East Coast initially offered this at nearly double what I ended up paying. Since I just recently had to return two Panasonic plasmas (42") to BestBuy I thought it might be a good idea to get the extended warranty.

I know that write ups advise don't bother with this. However, my husband and I are of the opinion that for this type of significant investment the cost of a 5 year warranty is worth it.

Cannot rate as I have not had to use it, but I received my warranty card promptly, and registering was simple online. So far as far as activation, it could not be better. Guess that is not what matters though so I will give 3 stars for now.
